COMPETITIVE
SALARY:
We remain competitive
by paying less than
our competitors

You know that
indestructible little
black box that is used
on airplanes, why can't
they make the whole
plane out of that
same substance?

If someone with multiple
personalities threatens
to kill himself, is it
considered a hostage situation?

Where do you find a
no-legged dog?...
Right where you left him.

What do you call a
boomerang that
doesn't work?
A stick.

Why do bagpipers walk
when they play?...
They're trying to get
away from the noise.

Did you hear about
the restaurant that
opened on the moon?...
The food is good,
but it has no
atmosphere.

U MIGHT BE A
REDNECK IF:

You've been married
three times and still
have the same in-laws.

Anyone in your family
ever died right after
saying, "Hey, y'all
watch this!"

You think the last
words to The Star
Spangled Banner are,
"Gentlemen, start
your engines!"

You think a woman who
is "out of your league"
bowls on a different
nite.........

I believe that if
men are from Mars,
and women are from
Venus -- that explains
a lot about why my
wife and I are always
fighting about where to
set the thermostat.

I believe that when
you open a bag of
chips -- no matter
what size it is --
it's a "single serving."

If one man says,
"it was an uphill battle,"
and another says,
"it went downhill from there,"
how could they both
be having troubles?

Why do drugstores make
the sick walk all the way
to the back of the store
to get their prescriptions
while healthy people can
buy cigarettes at the front?

Look out for #1.
Don't step in #2 either

If somebody vanished
without a trace, how
do people know they
are missing?

Why do grocery stores
buy so many checkout
line registers if they
only keep 3 or 4 open?

The buddy system is
essential to your survival;
it gives the enemy somebody
else to shoot at.

If builders built buildings
the way programmers wrote
programs, then the first
woodpecker that came along
would destroy civilization.

If mathematically you
end up with the incorrect
answer, try multiplying
by the page number.

It is better for civilization
to be going down the drain
than to be coming up it.

The City of Moab

Moab
This is the town that Susan spent the first 18 yrs.
of her life in. It has grown since then, thanks to
all the mountian bikers. It's one of their main
places to ride.

Dead Horse Point

Dead Horse Point
The road that you see in the forground is called "Shafer Trail"
it was blazed by Susan's Grandfather John Lloyd"Sog"Shafer
and his brother Frank Shafer. They used it to get livestock
down to the river.

Shafer Trail

Shafer Trail
Another shot of "Shafer Trail"as you are driving down the trail.
This trail will defiantly get your attention on your way down to the river.

Shafer Trail

Shafer Trail
Yet another view of "Shafer Trail". You can check out this site with
more photo's of the trail. Some people say it is the "most fun you can have
with your clothes on", I don't know about that but I do know that you won't
be thinking about anything else while your on it.

Here is what Canyonlands National Park has to say about the trail.

The Shafer Trail and White Rim roads require high clearance four-wheel drive.
These roads are sandy and steep in places, and may become impassable in
wet weather. Vehicles must remain on roads at all times; ATVs and ATCs are
prohibited. Inquire at the visitor center for up-to-date road conditions.

The Colorado River

Colorado River
This drive is even more vivid in the summer the red
rocks are beautiful as you can see. "Riders of the
Purple Sage" the movie that was on TV some time ago
was filmed about ten miles on up the road from where
this picture was taken. The whole area is spectacular!

The Delecate Arch

Delicate Arch
This is just one of the many arches you will find
in the park. This particular one is Delicate Arch.
The La Sal Mts. are in the background and make
a beautiful back drop for this area.

Maze Overlook

Monument Valley
A picture from the Maze Overlook. The right
shot at the right time.

Arches National Park

Balanced Rock
Balanced Rock and The Windows Section at Arches National
Park. The land of pinnacles and sand stone dunes, highlited
against snow covered La Sal Mts.

Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon
Another Utah Favorite. Sorry it takes so
long to load but it just doesn't look the
same in low resolution.
